Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing April 6th, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Lewis County Courthouse in Nezperce, Idaho for the Proposed Comprehensive Plan of the County of Lewis, Idaho, pursuant to Lewis County Comprehensive Plan.
The PROPOSED Comprehensive Plan includes planning components believed to be relevant to the unique nature of Lewis County. Such planning components include, but are not limited to Property Rights; Population; School Facilities and Transportation; Economic Development; Land Use; and Natural Resources. Please thoroughly review the PROPOSED documents prior to submitting written comments. Written Testimony will be allowed if received by 5 p.m. Sunday April 5th, 2026, in the Planning and Zoning Office. Length of oral testimony may be limited to three minutes for each person.
