Notice of Public Hearing - P&Z FEE INCREASE

PROPOSED FEE INCREASE for SOLID WASTE FEES & PLANNING & ZONING

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Idaho Code 63-1311A

The Board of Lewis County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, September 6, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Commissioners office in the Courthouse in Nezperce, Idaho for the purpose of hearing public comment regarding a proposed fee increase of 20% for solid waste collection and disposal for Lewis County citizens.

The Planning and Zoning increases will be for conditional use permits, simple property splits, simple sub division, sub divisions and new addresses.

The Lewis County Planning & Zoning Commission will having an open house for the public during the August 17, 2022 Planning & Zoning Meeting to review the P&Z FEE INCREASES they have recommended to the Lewis County Commissioners.

The open house will be at 7:00pm in the Lewis County Courthouse, 510 Oak Street, Nezperce, Idaho.  (Please use the front doors of the courthouse.)

Notice of Public Hearing - CUP #2022-01

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Idaho Code §67-6512, in accordance with the notice and hearing provisions provided under section 67-6509, Idaho Code, and Lewis County Zoning and Development Ordinance #97-2, that the Lewis County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lewis County Courthouse, 510 Oak Street, Nezperce, Idaho. Public comment is being sought on the following:

  • Conditional-use #2022-01: Seubert Excavators, Inc have requested a Conditional-use permit for Parcel# RP33N02E220300 140 acres to develop a rock quarry for retail and area road maintenance purposes. The parcel is owned by Randy and Danette Arnzen and located on Snyder Road Nezperce, Idaho. Situated in Lewis County, State of Idaho, to wit:
    A tract of land, Section Twenty-two (22), Township Thirty-three North (33N), Range East Two (2), Boise Meridian, 140 AC S½NWNE, SWNENE, N½SWNW, NWSENW, N½NW Lewis, County Idaho
All site-specific land use requests are to be considered Quasi-Judicial.

All comments verbal and written are welcome. A copy of the application and other items being considered during the Public Hearings are available at the Lewis County Planning and Zoning Office at the Courthouse, 510 Oak Street, Room #7, Nezperce, Idaho. You can also email pzw@lewiscountyid.org or call 208-937-2380 to request a packet.

Written Testimony will be allowed if received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022, in the Planning and Zoning Office. You can email your comments to pzw@lewiscountyid.org or mail comments to the Lewis County P & Z office 510 Oak St Rm 7 Nezperce, ID 83543. Length of oral testimony may be limited to three minutes for each person.

otice is hereby given that pursuant to Idaho Code §67-6512, in accordance with the notice and hearing provisions provided under section 67-6509, Idaho Code, and Lewis County Zoning and Development Ordinance #97-2, that the Lewis County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lewis County Courthouse, 510 Oak Street, Nezperce, Idaho. Public comment is being sought on the following:

  • An application for Simple Subdivision #2022-03: Rob McHone has requested a Simple Subdivision for parcel# RP34N02W320610 164.7 acres located at Benedict Road and Sandhill Road Winchester Idaho. He is requesting to split it into four parcels with acreages of approximately 11.97, 10.03, 19.29 and 107.10. The parcel is located within the Area of Impact for the City of Winchester. Situated in Lewis County, State of Idaho, to wit:
    A tract of land, Section Thirty-two (32), Township Thirty-four North (34N), Range Two (2) West, Boise Meridian, 164.7 AC Lots 5-8, PT Lots 3-4 & 9-12 (16.11 AC Hwy and 4 AC CO RD) Lewis County, Idaho
